Position Description:
Job Title: Class A Oxygen Bulk Delivery Driver
Reports to: Distribution Manager
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the safe and efficient handling of Oxygen gas to Lampton Welding Supply customer locations and production facilities. Successful drivers are polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our customers with an excellent experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance with all Lampton safety policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations including pre and post trip inspections, driver logs, & maintaining all DOT physicals & drug screens required to maintain CDL

Safely loading and unloading in compliance with all Lampton safety guidelines and DOT regulations

Obtain appropriate signatures to verify receipt of items delivered

Responsible for accurate and timely communication to appropriate individuals and/or departments concerning matters involving accidents and incidents, scheduling delays, customer site discrepancies, equipment defects, and other relevant issues to the Distribution Manager

Maintain the proper cleanliness of assigned vehicles

Assisting with other duties or responsibilities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS

Class A CDL required
-
Hazmat & Tanker endorsements required (or ability to obtain)

High school diploma (or equivalent)

Able to move or lift products and materials (up to 75 lbs.) and materials

Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws

Strong verbal communication skills

Clean driving record and ability to pass drug testing and background check requirements

Occasional OTR including night shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended stays as needed
