American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Oncology (Hematology/Oncology) weekend block position requiring at least 2 years of pediatric Hem/Onc experience and APHON Chemo certification.

Position is in a General Hematology/Oncology Ambulatory (HemOnc AMB) unit within a hospital setting
-
Pediatric hematology/oncology patient population
-
Weekend block position: working every Saturday and Sunday (0700–1900)
-
Third shift during the week will be the highest-need shift, likely Monday or Friday
-
12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
-
No on-call responsibilities

EMR: Epic
-
Active GA or Compact RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, and APHON Chemo

Minimum 2 years of experience required
-
Pediatric Hematology/Oncology experience is required

BMT experience preferred, but Hem/Oncology experience alone is acceptable
-
Flu vaccination required — no exemptions (medical or religious) will be accepted
-
Date of birth (DOB) required for consideration

Two professional references preferred

Nurses are expected to collaborate as a team with current staff and provide support beyond their individual patient assignment

Any scrub color is acceptable

This is a nicotine-free facility; nicotine testing is included in the drug screen

RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at time of consideration
