Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care for animals, assisting veterinarians in various medical procedures, and ensuring the well-being of our patients. Duties
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any changes or concerns.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
- Provide education to pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and training.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for both animals and staff by following sanitation protocols.
- Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations or treatments.
- Participate in the training of new staff or interns as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in animal care or veterinary settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and husbandry practices.
- Skills in animal restraint and handling techniques.
- Familiarity with dog training methods is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and team members.
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing exceptional care.
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
