Summary:
The Director of Sales North East will lead and oversee all sales operations for Claybourne's products, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, maintaining and cultivating strategic customer relationships in the North Eastern United States. This executive role requires deep industry knowledge, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a high-performing sales team in a regulated cannabis market.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives

Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets

Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with dispensaries, distributors, and strategic partners

Analyze sales metrics and market trends to optimize sales performance

Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure alignment on product launches, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns

Maintain compliance with all federal state, and local cannabis regulations in all sales activities

Report on sales performance, forecasts, and KPIs to the executive team

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
Qualifications:

7+ years of sales and account management experience in cannabis, alcohol or equivalent industry

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus

Driver's license, driving record which meets Company insurability requirements, and auto insurance.

Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly regulated industry

Willingness to work weekends and after-hours for educational business meetings, trade shows, eventspresentations

Strong knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance requirements
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary package and benefits ($100K base + Commission/15% On Target Bonus).

Schedule – 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (M-F) with on call weekend as needed to meet customer needs
