Position Overview
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to ensure the alignment of HR-related programs and practices with business objectives, and to provide assistance to all HR programs, including payroll, talent acquisition, benefits, training, and policy development.
The ideal Human Resource Generalist will be:
- An excellent communicator, with strong listening, writing, presenting, facilitating, coaching, and leading skills;
- Comfortable having difficult conversations and adept with conflict resolution;
- Flexible, adaptable, and open to others’ ideas;
- Proficient and knowledgeable in basic human resource disciplines including recruitment, training, and development.
- Experienced in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with ADP workforce now payroll.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human resources and 3+ years broad HR experience are required. This is a fully in office role.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Payroll & Timekeeping Support
- Assist with payroll administration by reviewing timecards, attendance records, and payroll-related documentation for accuracy prior to processing.
- Coordinate with managers and employees regarding missing punches, PTO requests, and attendance corrections.
- Generate attendance reports.
- Track and Monitor attendance for FL facility
Recruiting & Hiring Support
- Coordinate recruiting activities including job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Conduct initial applicant screenings and assist with coordinating hiring processes.
- Process pre-employment requirements such as background checks, drug screens, and onboarding paperwork.
- Assist with maintaining recruiting records and supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Support efforts to improve recruiting practices and candidate experience.
Compliance & Policy Administration
- Assist in the administration and communication of HR policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
- Ensure HR practices and employee documentation remain consistent with company standards and legal requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive HR matters.
- Support HR audits, reporting, and compliance-related projects as needed.
Additional Duties
- Assist the HR Manager with special projects and departmental initiatives.
- Support various administrative tasks related to benefits, training, safety, and employee programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, benefits, timekeeping, onboarding, and general employment matters.
- Maintain accurate and organized employee records, files, and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, and exit documentation.
- Coordinate employee communications, notices, and HR-related documentation.
- Support employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company initiatives.
