Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work across various projects, ensuring safety, precision, and efficiency. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components, trim, cabinetry, doors, siding, and fixtures with precision
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing as required for various projects
- Install siding, drywall, flooring, tile, and other finishing materials while ensuring quality standards are met
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry and related trades
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery (if applicable), and fabrication equipment
- Experience with framing (wooden or metal stud), roofing, siding installation, fixture hanging, cabinet installation, door hanging, and remodeling projects
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely on construction sites
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
- Valid construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and quality workmanship
