Traveling Electrical Superintendent - Heavy Commercial/Industrial
We are seeking an Electrical Superintendent with experience in heavy commercial/industrial construction to join our team!
Traveling Electrical Superintendent - Heavy Commercial/Industrial Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, electrical systems, circuits, and plans, and keep up-to-date red-lines
- Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects
- Be able to schedule material and equipment to complete assigned projects
- Remain in compliance with current National and Local Electric Codes
- Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
- Manage and lead multiple crews and Foreman
- Oversee all aspects of a construction project from planning to implementation
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Traveling Electrical Superintendent - Heavy Commercial/Industrial Qualifications:
- Must have 8-10 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman or Superintendent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic computer literacy
- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance and capable of being on your feet for 8-12 a day
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Willingness to travel is highly desirable
- Applicants must be able to pass an electrical aptitude test, background check, and drug screening
- Tilt wall experience is highly preferred
- Refrigeration and cold storage is highly preferred
- OSHA 10/30
- Experience traveling as an Electrical Superintendent/foreman for heavy commercial/industrial jobs
- Experience with installation of NLight, Acuity, and other lighting control systems
- Basic knowledge required to install and troubleshoot motor starters, lighting contactors, and fire pump
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
