GST Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing precision-machined parts. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of custom projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Set up and operate Fadal CNC milling machines.
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
- Select tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets for efficient production.
- Inspect first article and finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make program or setup adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Meet quality standards and production deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience.
- Hands-on experience with Fadal CNC machines is a plus.
- Proficiency in Mastercam programming.
- Ability to read blueprints and perform precision measurements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
