Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Nurse
Job Summary
Richmond Post Acute, a leading provider of post-acute care in Richmond, VA, is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse Wound Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality wound care to our residents, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
Integrates research findings to clinical practice to deliver evidence-based wound care
Develops and implements policies and procedures to manage residents with draining wounds, fistulae, and/or tubes
Provides education to residents and families on wound care, ostomy care, and incontinence
Conducts pre- and post-op assessments and resident and family education for surgery resulting in an ostomy
Ensures that all nursing service personnel comply with procedures set forth in the Nursing Service Procedures Manual
Makes written and oral reports or recommendations concerning the activities of your shift, as required
