Job Description: Home Health Aide (HHA)
Reports To: Registered Nurse (RN) / Clinical Supervisor Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Per Diem
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide high-quality care to patients in their private residences. You will assist individuals who are elderly, recovering from surgery, or living with chronic conditions or disabilities with their daily activities. Your goal is to help our clients maintain their independence and quality of life while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Core Responsibilities
1. Personal Care Assistance
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support mobility by assisting with transfers (bed to chair), walking, and prescribed exercises.
- Help with skin care and hair care to maintain client dignity and hygiene.
2. Health Monitoring & Support
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) under the direction of a nurse.
- Provide medication reminders to ensure compliance with prescribed treatments.
- Observe the client’s physical and mental condition, reporting any significant changes to the supervisor or family.
3. Household Support
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Assist with essential errands, such as grocery shopping or accompanying clients to medical appointments.
4. Emotional & Social Support
- Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support through conversation and engagement.
- Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with clients and their families.
Required Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification as required by state law.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Skills: * Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, and standing for long periods).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of nutrition and personal hygiene standards.
- Requirements:
- Successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
