We are a long-established neighborhood dry cleaning and alterations business serving the North Center and Ravenswood communities. We pride ourselves on friendly customer service, attention to detail, and building long-term relationships with our customers.
We're looking for a dependable, customer-focused team member to become the face of our business.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Accept and tag dry cleaning, laundry, and alteration orders
- Process customer payments through POS system
- Organize and prepare garments for pickup and delivery
- Inspect incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy
- Answer phones and assist customers with questions
- Maintain a clean, organized storefront
- Coordinate daily with our cleaning plant and alteration partners
- Open and/or close the store as scheduled
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable using a computer and point-of-sale system
- Ability to multitask in a customer-facing environment
- Previous retail, front desk, receptionist, preferred
- Dry cleaning experience is a plus but not required—we will train the right candidate
