Full-Time Infant Nanny Needed – Ashburn, VA (Starting July 28)
Warm and welcoming family in Ashburn, VA is seeking a full-time nanny for our baby girl, who will be 3.5 months old at the start of care.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Some flexibility may be needed based on work meetings
- Opportunity for a few trial days before the official start date
About the Position:
We work from home and are looking for a nanny who is comfortable with parent involvement throughout the day. We value a collaborative, flexible approach to infant care and appreciate someone who can adapt as our baby's needs and routines evolve.
Responsibilities:
- Engaging and attentive infant care
- Supporting a healthy eat, play, sleep routine
- Bottle feeding expressed breast milk as needed
- Encouraging tummy time and age-appropriate developmental activities
- Washing baby bottles
- Baby laundry
- Light tidying of baby-related items
Qualifications:
- Previous infant care and nanny experience required- 2 years minimum
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Early Childhood Education background preferred but not required
- Spanish language skills are a plus
- Non-smoker
- Tdap (within the last 5 years), annual flu vaccine, and current COVID vaccination preferred
Our Parenting Style:
We practice responsive parenting and prioritize nurturing, attentive care. We follow our baby's cues, limit screen exposure, and prefer minimal phone use while baby is awake. We are looking for someone warm, caring, dependable, and genuinely enjoys spending time with infants.
Communication:
We use the Huckleberry app to track feedings, sleep, diapers, and milestones, though we are open to simple written notes if preferred.
