Patient Experience Coordinator

Boca Raton Medical Partners is seeking an experienced, polished, and highly organized Patient Experience Coordinator to serve as a key member of our front-office team. This role is ideal for a seasoned healthcare professional who thrives in a fast-paced primary care environment and takes pride in creating a seamless, welcoming experience for every patient.
As the first point of contact for our practice, you will play a vital role in shaping the patient journey while ensuring the smooth coordination of daily operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, sound judgment, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and grace.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients with warmth, professionalism, and exceptional customer service
- Complete patient check-in processes efficiently and accurately
- Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, referrals, and demographic information
- Coordinate multiple provider schedules to maintain optimal patient flow
- Register new patients and maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Schedule appointments and manage complex scheduling requests
- Coordinate pre-operative appointments, testing requirements, and related documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, specialists, hospitals, vendors, and pharmaceutical representatives
- Respond to patient questions and resolve concerns in a professional and compassionate manner
- Support additional administrative and front-office operations as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of recent experience in a physician office or primary care setting preferred
- Strong understanding of insurance verification, patient registration, and medical scheduling workflows
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems required
- Athenahealth/AthenaOne experience strongly preferred
- Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Dependable, mature, and committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Candidates with demonstrated success in primary care and proficiency with Athenahealth are strongly encouraged to apply.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
