MALOUF FURNITURE
Sales Support Administrator
Foley, AL | Full-Time | On-Site
Be the person who makes it all come together
Every great furniture purchase has a story behind it — a customer who finally found the right sectional, a sales rep who nailed the fit, and someone behind the scenes making sure it actually shows up on time and in one piece.
That someone is you.
As our Sales Support Administrator, you're the connective tissue between our showroom, our customers, and their delivery day. You'll own the details so our sales team can keep doing what they do best — and so our customers never have to wonder what's happening with their order.
If you like solving problems, talking to people, and the small satisfaction of a clean, organized order board, you'll like it here.
What you'll do
Own the order process end to end
- Enter and process sales orders accurately the first time
- Track special orders from purchase through delivery, and stay ahead of ETA changes
- Keep order records current so the sales team and customers always have the real story
- Coordinate with vendors and the warehouse on timing, backorders, and exceptions
Take great care of our customers
- Answer calls and emails as the friendly, capable voice of Malouf Furniture
- Schedule deliveries and set clear expectations customers can count on
- Get ahead of delays — customers hear from us before they have to ask
- Resolve issues calmly and follow through until they are actually resolved
Support the sales team
- Partner with reps on order details, paperwork, and customer follow-up
- Flag issues early so nothing falls through the cracks
- Help keep the sales side of the business running smooth and organized
What you bring
- 1–3 years in an administrative, retail, or customer-facing role
- Comfort with order entry systems, email, and basic spreadsheets — and the willingness to learn ours
- Strong attention to detail; you catch the wrong SKU before it becomes a wrong delivery
- A warm, clear, professional presence on the phone and over email
- The ability to juggle several things at once without dropping any of them
- A follow-through mindset: you close loops
Nice to have: furniture, appliance, or big-ticket retail experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time, on-site role. Our customers shop when they're off work, so weekend coverage is part of the job — expect a regular Saturday rotation and occasional evening hours, with a weekday off to balance it out. We build the schedule ahead of time so you can plan your life.
What we offer
- Competitive pay based on experience $18-$20 an hour
- Health, dental, and vision coverage
- Paid time off and paid holidays
- Generous employee discount
- 401(k) retirement plan
- A team small enough that your work is visible and your ideas get heard
Why Malouf Furniture
We're not a call center and we're not a big-box store. We're a furniture business where people know each other's names, where doing right by the customer isn't a policy but a habit, and where the person handling the orders is a valued part of the team — not a data entry seat.
You'll have real ownership of your work, direct access to the people making decisions, and the chance to grow with us.

Send your resume to [email protected] with a short note about why this role fits you. No cover letter novel required — a few honest sentences works.
