We're Hiring | Senior Embedded Software Engineers (3 Openings) & Senior Software Architect (1 Opening)
Location: Houston, TX (Minimum 3 days onsite, ideally 5 days onsite)
We're partnering with an innovative medical technology company developing next-generation medical devices that are transforming patient care. As the team continues to grow, we're looking for experienced Embedded Software Engineers and Architects to help design and develop safety-critical software for cutting-edge medical systems.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for advanced medical device platforms.
- Develop software in C/C++ within real-time operating system (RTOS) environments, including QNX.
- Collaborate with systems, electrical, mechanical, and verification engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Participate in software architecture, design reviews, integration, verification, and validation activities.
- Contribute to the development of high-quality, safety-critical products in a regulated environment.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience developing embedded software using C/C++.
- Experience with QNX or another RTOS in real-time embedded systems.
- Experience working within the medical device industry is highly preferred.
- Exposure to complex electromechanical systems is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of software development within regulated environments (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, FDA design controls, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
