Automotive Mechanical Claims Adjuster

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide the customer with "best in class" service
- Explain features, advantages, and disadvantages of products such as GAP and Vehicle Service Contracts (VSC)
- Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s needs, reviewing coverage, and benefits with our customers
- Answering a high volume of incoming calls
- Answering claim calls from repair shops and our customers
- Entering repair estimates and adjusting claim totals based on nationally recognized databases
- Opportunity for extra income through outstanding customer service
Job Requirements:
- The opportunity requires a solid understanding of mechanical vehicle repair and candidates should have at least some hands-on experiences repairing vehicles.
- The ability to speak English and Spanish
- Customer Service is a key component to this position, so the ability to communicate professionally, and occasionally de-escalate client and customer concerns is required.
- Comfortable negotiating repair prices with repair facilities to maximize customer service and maintain reasonable claims expenditures.
- Must enjoy a fast-paced work environment handling multiple phone lines and interfacing with various computer programs.
- Ability to multi task and work under pressure when it comes to prioritizing tasks.
- Be a team player and communicate with Managers and co-workers.
- High school diploma or GED certificate
