The Parts Associate ensures the availability, accuracy, and timely delivery of parts and inventory to support operations, contributing directly to operational efficiency, turnaround time, and service quality.
Essential Function & Core Responsibilities

Safely operate a companyowned vehicle or personal vehicle for authorized business purposes in compliance with applicable laws, company policies, safety requirements, and vehicleuse expectations.

Source and procure parts in a timely and costeffective manner to support service operations.

Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure parts availability and delivery accuracy.

Maintain inventory accuracy, organization, and replenishment processes to support operational efficiency.

Monitor stock levels and identify shortages or delays impacting service operations.

Support technicians and service teams by ensuring correct parts are available when needed.

Assist customers and internal personnel with partsrelated inquiries and support needs.

Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and operational records within company systems.

Support compliance with company processes, inventory controls, and documentation standards.

Maintain organized and safe parts storage and operational areas.

Demonstrate urgency, attention to detail, and professionalism in daily operations.

Valid driver's license, with the ability to maintain an acceptable driving records, required insurance when using a personal vehicle, and company driving authorization.

Strong understanding of parts sourcing, vendors, and industry standards.

Proficiency in business systems, including ERP and other types of systems.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work with urgency in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Education, Certifications, and/or Experience

High School Diploma / GED high school diploma or equivalent (a higher education degree in business or related field preferred).

Experience in heavyduty or automotive parts procurement.

Experience with inventory management and control.

Proficiency in NetSuite and Service Pro (or similar ERP/FSM platforms) is highly preferred.

Ability to work in office, parts, warehouse, shop, or customer-facing operational environments. This role may require standing, walking, reaching, bending, handling parts or materials, using standard equipment, and occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items consistent with business needs.
