Job Summary:
An Early Childhood Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children. They support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through age-appropriate educational activities and positive interactions.
Hours: 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging lessons and activities that promote learning and development.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess children's progress and maintain developmental records.
- Encourage social skills, creativity, independence, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the classroom.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques.
- Prepare educational materials and maintain a clean, organized learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to enhance educational programs.
- Adhere to childcare regulations, policies, and professional standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of child development principles and early learning frameworks.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Previous experience working with young children is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
