We are hiring a Veterinary Technician to support our board-certified cardiologist across both our Beaverton and West Linn locations. In this role, you will maintain detailed medical records, review and implement treatment plans, and address client questions regarding their pets' care. You will also work closely with your team to manage the veterinarian’s orders, ensuring the highest standards of patient care while maintaining an efficient workflow. This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented technician who thrives in a collaborative setting and wants to utilize their technical skills in a specialty environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $29-$31/hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiology diagnostics: ECG, echocardiogram, radiography, blood pressure monitoring, venipuncture and processing of laboratory samples
- Administer SQ, IM, and IV injections
- Medication administration and filling prescriptions
- Accurately maintain patient records (our practice management software is EzyVet)
- Provide clear, compassionate client communication and education
- Handle and restrain patients using Fear Free or low-stress techniques
- Travel between Beaverton and West Linn as needed
Qualifications:
- 1 year of veterinary technician experience preferred
- Skilled in digital radiography and pharmaceutical handling
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Reliable transportation to travel between locations
- Fear Free certification or commitment to low-stress patient handling
