Overview
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Battle Creek, Michigan. This opportunity offers a stable 40-hour workweek on a night shift schedule (Sunday–Thursday) with no floating or weekend requirements. You'll work with advanced imaging technology in both inpatient and outpatient settings while supporting a collaborative healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols
- Conduct routine MRI studies, including musculoskeletal, neurological, body, spine, prostate, and perfusion imaging
- Administer contrast media and perform IV starts as needed
- Utilize PACS and Epic for accurate image documentation and patient records
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality imaging throughout each procedure
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification (either accepted)
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Experience with Philips MRI scanners (GE experience preferred)
- Experience with Epic, McKesson, and PACS
- Proficient in IV starts and contrast administration
