Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe, hygienic environment for residents.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners with proper manual handling techniques.
- Execute outdoor work tasks like patio cleaning or yard tidying as needed to maintain overall property appearance.
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving furniture or large items during deep cleans or rearrangements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide outstanding customer service throughout each visit.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supplies used, and any maintenance issues observed during visits.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning detergents, surface care products, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting heavy objects or performing outdoor work.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment operation and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
