Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week travel assignment in Largo, MD. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of OR/Surgical Tech experience and strong proficiency across multiple surgical specialties, including General Surgery, Bariatrics, Trauma, GYN, Urology, Robotics, Orthopedics, Neuro, and Podiatry.
Requirements
- Active CST certification
- BLS certification – AHA required
- Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience
- Community hospital experience required
- Strong experience in multiple OR specialties
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Maintain strict sterile and aseptic technique
- Assist surgical teams during procedures
- Perform instrument processing, sterilization, and tray/set preparation
- Handle specimens and ensure proper labeling
- Follow surgical safety, universal protocol, radiation, laser, and sharps safety procedures
- Maintain and care for scopes, fiber-optic equipment, electrosurgical units, and other OR equipment
- Support emergency and trauma procedures
- Participate in robotic and hybrid OR procedures as needed
Pay: $1,900.00 - $2,100.00 per week
