Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide individual and couples therapy, utilizing an evidence based approach.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other team members to coordinate care.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, SFT, and trauma-informed methods.
- Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and professional development activities.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed.
- Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Licensure: Current licensure in [State] as an LMSW, LPC, LCSW, LPCA, or equivalent. Associate-level licensure will be considered.
- Experience:
- Preferred: Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience in mental health settings.
- Strong familiarity with evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
