Position Overview:
The Park Services Team Member is part of the Operations Department’s Park Services team and is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of all guest-facing areas throughout the park. This role focuses on keeping walkways, restrooms, pavilions, and other guest-facing areas clean, organized, and ready for guests at all times. Park Services Team Members play a key role in creating a positive first impression and upholding the park’s commitment to providing a Good-Clean-Fun experience for every guest.
Position Responsibilities:

Ensure all guest-facing areas are kept clean and orderly.

Complete daily cleaning checklists and special projects as assigned by leadership.

Regularly refresh trash receptacles, including taking out trash, wiping down surfaces, and washing as needed.

Regularly check and refresh restrooms according to established standards.

Prior to opening, walk through the park with a broom and dustpan to remove debris and ensure all trash receptacles are refreshed according to established standards.

Before or after park hours, hose down pavilions and walkways.

Respond to all Park Services radio calls, including trash removal requests, restroom refreshing, routine cleanings, or cleanup of messes.

Safely operate all Park Services equipment and tools, including but not limited to dollies, trash cans, gondolas, brooms, dustpans, and spray bottles.

Use proper cleaning products and chemicals when completing duties, following all established standards and procedures.

Reduce waste by controlling inventory of Park Services products and supplies available to guests.

Track inventory of Park Services products and supplies and proactively alert appropriate leadership or management when stock is running low.

Ensure all Park Services storage areas are kept clean, organized, and in compliance with all regulatory and established standards.

Ensure proper handling of chemicals, cleaning products, Park Services equipment, and other relevant materials; always read instructions and warnings before handling.

Provide intentional and Texas-friendly customer service and assist guests with questions, directions, and other needs as requested.

Comply with all Pyek Group and Typhoon Texas policies and procedures.

Proactively identify operational and equipment issues and collaborate with departmental leadership to resolve them when appropriate.

Assist with additional responsibilities, roles, departments, or park locations as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be 15 years of age or older.

Must be 18 years of age or older to operate the trash compactor.

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds as part of daily responsibilities.

May be required to work in various weather conditions, including direct sunlight, high temperatures, or rain.

Must be able to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to communicate in a positive and professional manner and work well with others.
