Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
- Perform cable routing, wire preparation, crimping, soldering, and connector installation.
- Use hand tools, power tools, torque drivers, and measuring equipment safely and accurately.
- Conduct visual inspections and verify assemblies meet quality standards.
- Perform continuity checks and basic functional testing when required.
- Record production data accurately and complete required documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following company and OSHA guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and meet daily production goals.
- Work collaboratively with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1+ year of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, crimpers, torque screwdrivers, and measuring devices.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for production tracking and documentation.
- Experience in a clean manufacturing environment is a plus.
- IPC certification (IPC-A-610 or IPC/WHMA-A-620) is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States (E-Verify required).
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance are required.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
