Paralegal needed for Growing Civil Litigation Firm in Marietta
Marietta, GA
$70K - $75K plus bonus
Our partner in Marietta, GA is searching for an experienced paralegal to join their growing civil litigation firm. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and focused on achieving strong results. Experience in insurance defense litigation is a plus.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting attorney(s) in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Drafting legal documents such as subpoenas, pleadings, and related correspondence.
- Assisting with case analysis and meeting all applicable deadlines.
- Performing electronic filings with both State and Federal Courts.
- Summarizing medical and billing records.
- Summarizing depositions.
- Managing cases from inception to completion.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a litigation team.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Highly motivated with a strong commitment to excellence.
- Experience supporting attorneys in civil litigation matters.
