Planet Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Parts Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will assist both customers and technicians by identifying, sourcing, and providing the correct automotive parts and accessories. You will use your product knowledge and attention to detail to ensure accurate orders, smooth workflow, and exceptional service.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years parts department experience in the auto industry. Specific Stellantis Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/RAM experience is preferred but not required. Position provides excellent opportunity for advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying the correct parts for their vehicles
- Support technicians by preparing and delivering parts needed for repairs
- Look up parts using catalogs, inventory systems, and OEM resources
- Process orders, returns, warranties, and special requests accurately
- Maintain stock levels, organize inventory, and participate in regular inventory counts
- Provide pricing, availability, and product information clearly and professionally
- Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal team members
- Upsell or recommend additional parts, accessories, or services when appropriate
- Ensure work area and parts storage are clean, organized, and efficient
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a parts advisor, parts counter person, or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and terminology
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable using parts catalog software and inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
