Responsibilities:
- Cleaning, stocking and supplying designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Follow all health and safety regulations
The Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a Custodian or Groundskeeper
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Perform in an active, fast paced, indoor and outdoor venue, during inclement
- weather, with flexibility to work during evenings, weekends and holidays
- Clean and professional appearance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
- Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions
- Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals
- Noise level in the work environment is usually loud
Physical Demands :
- Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
