Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, with a focus on Cabinet Installation, trim carpentry and installation. This role requires an eye for detail and the ability to read and interpret schematics, ensuring high-quality finishes in residential and commercial projects. The Finish Carpenter will work primarily on construction sites, collaborating with other trades to deliver exceptional craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Execute trim carpentry tasks including installation of moldings, baseboards, and cabinetry. Must have experience in Cabinet installation.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate measurements and installations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks.
- Collaborate with other trades such as drywall installers and electricians to coordinate project timelines.
- Restore and repair existing woodwork to maintain aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites to promote safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while working with tools and materials.
Experience
- Proven experience in finish carpentry, with a strong portfolio of completed projects preferred.
- Familiarity with drywall installation processes is advantageous.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other carpentry equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a construction environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
