Cartwright & Daughters Tent & Party Rentals is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Assistant Warehouse Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys staying active, solving problems, and ensuring every event is prepared for success.

Responsibilities
As our Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure our equipment is clean, organized, maintained, and ready for delivery.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Supervise the loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
- Verify all orders are accurate before trucks leave the warehouse.
- Assist in scheduling daily warehouse workflow.
- Oversee the cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of rental equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory and report damaged or missing equipment.
- Ensure equipment is properly tagged and routed for repairs when needed.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
- Monitor quality control to ensure customers receive equipment in excellent condition.
- Train, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff.
- Communicate with the office regarding order changes, additions, and special instructions.
- Help prioritize workloads based on upcoming deliveries and event schedules.
- Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with seasonal maintenance projects and inventory organization during slower months.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous warehouse, logistics, rental, or operations experience (leadership experience preferred).
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Can prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Has excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Is dependable, punctual, and leads by example.
- Is comfortable performing physical work throughout the day.
- Can lift 75+ pounds repeatedly.
- Is comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Has basic computer skills for inventory management.
- Has a valid driver's license (preferred).
- Is available to work weekends during our busy season.
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
