As an Assembler, you will help build and finish products through a variety of assembly, fabrication, and production processes. You'll work with tools, equipment, and team members to ensure products meet Pelican's high standards for quality and performance.
- Follow verbal and written work instructions to assemble a variety of plastic products and protective cases.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, assembly fixtures, drill presses, saws, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Perform assembly fixture changeovers and replenish materials at workstations as needed.
- Install hardware, components, and accessories according to product specifications.
- Perform gluing, taping, flame treating, labeling, and finishing operations.
- Inspect parts and assemblies for visual defects and quality concerns.
- Operate machinery used in finishing and assembly processes.
- Perform basic repair, touch-up, and paint operations on foam inserts and components.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Follow company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifcations
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, production, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to safely operate machinery and machine controls.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.
Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour
