Legacy Kids is growing, and we're looking for two certified RBTs, one for our Irvine team and one for our Mission Viejo team.
We believe in building futures, not just for the children we serve, but for the next generation of behavior analysts. Whether you're an experienced RBT or working toward BCBA certification, you'll get hands on training writing quality FBAs, advocating for clients, and delivering therapy that respects autonomy, dignity, and individual differences. Pay: $25 to $32/hour (based on experience and education)
Irvine RBT: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 9:00am to 1:00pm
Mission Viejo RBT: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9:00am to 2:30pm
What You'll Do:
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in a variety of natural settings (home, clinic, school, community)
- Implement behavior intervention plans created by a BCBA
- Collect and analyze behavioral data
- Participate in assessments, team meetings, and parent collaboration
- Learn how to write effective Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Receive training on client advocacy and ethical decision making
- Practice ABA that is compassionate, assent based, and neurodiversity affirming
- Respect and respond to client communication, preferences, and autonomy
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (active)
- Reliable transportation to clients in Irvine or Mission Viejo (please note your preferred location when applying)
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing learning
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, ABA, Education, or related field
- Enrolled in or planning to enroll in a BCBA Verified Course
- Availability on weekends
