Harper & Associates is seeking an experienced and compassionate QP/GROUP HOME MANAGER to lead and oversee the daily operations of a youth group home, dedicated to providing exceptional care for Teenage girls with Mental, Emotional and Behavioral issues. In this vital role, you will ensure that residents receive personalized, respectful, and high-quality care while managing staff, house operations and compliance with state and federal regulations. Responsibilities
- Lead the overall operation of the group home, ensuring compliance with licensing standards, safety protocols, and care regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Person-Centered Plans tailored to each resident’s individual needs.
- Supervise and support staff members by providing training, mentorship, and on-going guidance to promote a motivated team dedicated to resident well-being.
- Oversee medication administration processes in accordance with Medicaid guidelines and ensure accurate documentation.
- Manage daily operations related to household food, supplies & inventory, activities & outings, resident needs, and resource allocation to maintain efficient operations within established financial parameters.
- Coordinate with external treatment team providers, social workers, families, and community resources to enhance resident care and facilitate smooth transitions.
- Ensure a safe environment by conducting regular safety audits, incident investigations, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of all care activities.
- Promote a person-centered approach that respects residents’ dignity, independence, and preferences in all aspects of care delivery.
- Conduct daily documentation reviews to ensure support staff progress notes are person-centered and include therapeutic interventions & recommendations for the residents.
- Manage staffing in a 24hr setting to ensure proper coverage at all times.
- Must have a valid driver's license, personal vehicle and proof of auto insurance, to be able to safely transport residents if and when needed. (Mileage Reimbursement provided)
Experience
- Proven management experience in a group home or residential facility setting serving individuals with mental health or developmental disabilities.
- Extensive knowledge of NC DHSR regulations, Medicaid rules, Youth Group Home practices, and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading direct support staff in group homes and/or community care settings..
- Strong background in developing Person-Centered Plans tailored to residents’ unique needs involving Mental, Emotional and Behavioral issues and past trauma related conditions.
- Familiarity with Admission and Discharge processes of LME/MCOs as it relates to residential services is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills combined with the ability to foster teamwork while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
