Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable Key Holder who loves people and pets. In this role, you’ll help open and close the store, keep everything running smoothly, and most importantly, deliver outstanding customer service. No pet retail experience? That’s okay—we’ll provide the training you need. What matters most is your reliability, willingness to learn, and passion for helping others.
What You’ll Do
- Customer Service First
- Greet every customer warmly and make them feel welcome.
- Help pet parents find the right food, treats, toys, and supplements.
- Answer questions and share knowledge about pet nutrition (training provided).
- Promote store events, memberships, and specials.
- Store Operations
- Perform opening and closing duties, including register setup and cash reconciliation.
- Keep the store clean, safe, and organized—including restrooms and self-wash stations.
- Receive, stock, and merchandise deliveries.
- Handle purchases, refunds, and exchanges responsibly.
- Dependability & Responsibility
- Trusted with store keys, codes, and safe access.
- Act as a representative of ownership when on shift.
- Report issues such as low inventory, equipment concerns, or customer feedback.
What We’re Looking For
- 18 years or older, be a high school graduate and have reliable transportation.
- Dependable, trustworthy, and punctual (key responsibility).
- Friendly, positive, and customer-focused.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Retail experience is helpful, but not required—we provide training.
