Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump beds, box truck.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual handling techniques when necessary
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Plan and follow optimal routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards
- Deliver freight to various locations, managing route driving with precision and professionalism
- Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues that arise during routes
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with freight handling
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods
- Strong knowledge of route driving best practices and traffic regulations
- Physical ability to perform the demands of hours on the road and cargo handling tasks

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
