Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Residential Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of residential construction projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all phases of project development, from initial design coordination through completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, construction management experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality residential developments that exceed client expectations. Spanish speaking is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination and management of residential construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with subcontractors, and clients to develop detailed construction plans and timelines.
- Utilize project management software or similar tools to develop schedules, track progress, and manage project documentation.
- Oversee construction estimating processes and manage construction budgets effectively to optimize cost control.
- Ensure compliance with all construction regulations, safety standards, and building codes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor progress, quality of work, and safety practices; address issues proactively to minimize delays.
- Manage teams on-site and coordinate subcontractors’ activities to ensure seamless project execution.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately; interpret construction plans and technical drawings for team implementation.
- Maintain clear communication with the owner through detailed reports, meetings, and updates.
- Manage contracts and procurement processes efficiently while adhering to project specifications.
- Oversee construction regulatory compliance and ensure all permits are obtained prior to work commencement.
- Assist with site maintenance and clean up throughout the duration of projects.
Experience
- Experience managing residential or commercial construction projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong background in construction estimating, cost management, project scheduling, and budget oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with construction regulations, safety protocols, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract administration.
- Hands-on experience with construction site activities such as site inspections, safety audits, and quality control measures.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on time management and project coordination across diverse teams.
