Firefighters Credit Union is a member-owned financial cooperative dedicated to serving our members with personalized, friendly service. We're looking for a positive, people-oriented individual to join our team as a Member Service Representative.
Position Summary
As a Member Service Representative, you'll be the face and voice of our credit union—helping members with their everyday financial needs. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and is eager to grow in the financial services field. We have openings at both our Bountiful and Draper locations.
What You'll Do
- Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently
- Open new accounts and assist members with account services
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to member inquiries
- Educate members about credit union products and services
- Provide friendly, helpful, and professional service in every interaction
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to type accurately
- Strong phone and communication skills
- A positive, friendly, and helpful attitude when working with members and coworkers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and transaction processing systems
- Cash handling experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check
Schedule
Full-time; part-time may be considered. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.—no nights or weekends.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $15.50–$16.00 per hour, depending on experience
