We provide and service safety and fire-fighting equipment for passenger and cargo ships, offshore installations, fishing vessels, naval fleets, helicopter services, fire departments, and leisure yachts.
We are currently looking for a dedicated and hands-on professional to join our team and contribute to our life-saving mission.
Your Role
In this role, you will be a key representative of VIKING, building strong relationships with customers by delivering reliable, efficient, and friendly service. You’ll collaborate across departments and play a vital role in ensuring that our life-saving equipment is always ready when it matters most.
Key Responsibilities
- Service life rafts and ensure they are fully operational
- Perform maintenance in accordance with VIKING’s latest procedures and regulatory standards
- Conduct required testing, including:
- Load tests (every 2 years)
- Gas inflation tests (every 5 years)
- NAP and floor seam tests (after 11 years)
- Maintain detailed checklists and verify expiration dates of all raft components
- Inspect, clean, repair, and label containers accurately
- Repack life rafts based on customer requirements (valise, low profile, etc.)
- Coordinate delivery and pickup of life rafts at ports (including weekends when required)
- Maintain a clean, organized raft room and facility
- Support the sales team with preparation for local boat shows
Your Impact & Authority
- Determine parts and components that need replacement
- Decide on required testing for life rafts
- Ensure accurate and compliant documentation
