<Duties>
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as drainage, piping connections, and refrigerant line servicing.
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and welding equipment for system repairs when necessary.
- Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions for future reference.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R equipment to ensure continuous operation.
<Requirements>
- Proven experience as a service technician and installation in HVAC or related mechanical fields with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems. Minimum 3 years experience working independently.
- Knowledge of construction practices relevant to installing or repairing HVAC systems within various property types.
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design documents accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair.
- Experience working with field service operations in diverse environments; familiarity with property maintenance is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a <PERSON> driver vehicle preferred.
- Proficiency with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; capable of equipment repair using various mechanical tools.
