Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and process cash transactions efficiently
- Serve food and drinks with professionalism, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table setup, clearing, and sanitizing in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Uphold food safety management practices by following proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols
- Support catering and banquet events by setting up tables, serving guests, and managing food distribution
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of wine service and basic food handling techniques is advantageous
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Experience with POS systems for processing transactions accurately
- Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and health regulations
- Physical ability to handle weight in the workplace, including lifting trays or boxes of supplies
- Hospitality or culinary experience, including catering or banquet work, is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards teamwork
