As a Land Development Engineering Intern, you will work alongside project engineers on the development and production of projects from initial concept through construction administration. From large-scale residential developments to mixed-use commercial complexes and educational facilities, our diverse portfolio allows for accelerated learning and provides well-rounded experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist in the development of engineering solutions for land development projects through the application of Local, State and Federal design standards and regulations
Assist in all aspects of the design effort, including, but not limited to:
- Rezoning & Entitlement Applications, Preliminary Plans, and Site & Subdivision Plans
- Open and closed storm drainage systems including stormwater management
- Water and Sanitary Sewer system design
- Compliance with zoning ordinances, proffers, and applicable facility standards
- Erosion and sediment control plans and design E&S control measures in accordance with state criteria
Enrolled in a Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering (or equivalent) curriculum at an ABET accredited university
Strong oral and written communication skills
