Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks, including manual transmission, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using the proper switches/buttons/levers while adhering to safety protocols for any one around or near your commercial truck.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify truck condition, report maintenance issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- You must maintain daily, DOT Inspection logs and timesheets.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate job adjustments.
Experience
- Class B required.
- No experience required.
- Ability to operate trucks with manual transmission confidently.
- Starting Hourly Pay is $28.66 per hour plus $21.41 in benefits. Hourly Pay will increase to $35.82 after 1st year.
