We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager for one of our condominium properties.
Job Summary:
The Facilities Manager is responsible for the community’s overall maintenance needs. This includes ensuring that equipment operates and is maintained according to manufacturer specifications, work performed meets safety requirements, and all maintenance workers follow appropriate federal and state safety guidelines. The specific duties of the Facilities Manager vary according to the specific industry or organization, but generally include creating and following preventive maintenance schedules, overseeing a staff of maintenance or custodial staff, and inspecting and testing equipment or building systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct routine inspections.
- Coordinate maintenance repairs with maintenance team onsite and outside maintenance contractors.
- Manage maintenance and capital projects and ensure work is completed according to the terms of the contract.
- Perform maintenance repairs as appropriate.
- Follow and maintain routine maintenance schedules.
- Manage direct reports.
- Other duties as requested.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Required.
- 2+ years of general, residential maintenance experience.
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
- Customer service focused and team oriented.
- Self-motivated, proactive, takes the initiative, with strong follow-up skills.
- Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.); OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements and State or local governmental safety requirements.
- Time management and time-critical prioritization skills
- Valid driver's license is required
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
