The Groundskeeper works with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that the curb appeal and the amenities for the community are maintained to look their best and provide optimal enjoyment.
Responsibilities: This is not an exhaustive list as other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Walk through entire property at the beginning of every day checking overall cleanliness.

General Property Cleanliness: Ensure streets and curbs are free of debris, run trash compactor daily as needed, utilize power washer and be prepared for monthly landscaping "grounds walks". Pay special attention to grounds, keep leasing office parking lot and entrance clean.

Pool area: Test pool/spa daily, record readings, empty trash cans daily, arrange pool furniture neatly, clean off deck(s) as needed, maintain clean and orderly pump room.

Customer Service: Communicate clearly to the residents. Receive resident concerns in a calm and open manner, solve problems quickly using common sense (within 24 hours whenever possible), Carry and deliver boxes, flowers, newsletters, correspondence, etc., to residents' apartments, Coordinate, set up, attend, and clean up after resident functions (food, tables, display areas, etc.).

High school diploma or GED required; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general instructions, technical procedures, or regulations.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to handle a rigorous schedule of deadlines

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
