As a key member of the hotel leadership team, the Executive Housekeeper works closely with the General Manager to guide the total operations of the property's Housekeeping team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Executive Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the highest level of ethical leadership to lead the department to achieve its business goals.
A Day in the Life:
- Responsible for assisting with the overall performance of the property's Housekeeping department including (but not limited to) guest satisfaction, colleague satisfaction, brand quality assurance, budget, and labor
- Execute the training of all associates as it relates to hotel brand standards to maximize revenue and deliver superior service
- Maintaining compliance and staying up-to-date on new initiatives for the brand and company
- Ensuring impeccable cleanliness is maintained throughout all areas of the hotel
- Provide effective recruitment, selection, and development of associates
- Develop positive relationships with associates through recognition to drive associate satisfaction
- Manage an effective deep cleaning/inspection schedule and maintain excellent communications with engineering
- Develop and support a service culture of warmth, excellence, and creating experiences for our guests
- Implement an effective purchasing program that ensures effective par levels are maintained for all guest/operating supplies, within budget/forecast parameters
- Effectively schedule the Housekeeping department in line with productivity guidelines
- Coach and counsel associates as needed and follow-through on guest feedback as appropriate
- Actively working in the housekeeping & maintenance department to help control the payroll.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
