Hayfield Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. We are a multi-doctor, full-service practice that also offers pet boarding. Our hospital boasts an enjoyable working environment with great leadership and excellent support staff.

This position is responsible for managing multiple phone lines, booking appointments, greeting clients, processing payments, and ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is clean and presentable at all times.
Candidates must have excellent skills in the following areas: client service, communication, and multi-tasking. We are looking for someone with a great attitude, outgoing personality, a high level of computer proficiency and exceptional telephone communication abilities. The candidate is not required to have experience with animals, but must be comfortable working in a customer service environment. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team.
Ideally, we are looking for candidates that would be willing to cross train in veterinary assisting and pet care attendant duties as well. General assistant responsibilities can include pharmacy duties, assisting doctors, and handling medical records. Kennel duties may include walking dogs, cleaning dog runs/cages and cat cages, and feeding pets in the kennel.
