Area of responsibility :
1. Investor Onboarding & Market Expansion:
- Identify and engage with hedge funds, private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and proprietary trading firms interested in India.
- Pitch ICICI Bank’s end-to-end investment solutions, including custodial and securities services.
- Guide investors on structuring Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Foreign Portfolio Investment (FPI), and Foreign Venture Capital Investment (FVCI) in India.
2. Regulatory & Compliance Advisory:
- Assist funds in navigating SEBI and RBI regulations for market entry and operational compliance.
- Facilitate regulatory approvals, including FPI registration, broker-dealer licenses, and exchange memberships for firms setting up onshore broking entities.
3. Leverage & Structured Financing Solutions:
- Advise funds on availing leverage from Indian markets within regulatory frameworks.
- Structure tailored financing solutions, including margin funding and credit lines.
4. End-to-End Sales & Relationship Management:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting key financial institutions in the U.S.
- Lead the entire sales cycle—from initiating contact and presenting solutions to closing deals and ensuring seamless client onboarding.
- Act as the primary liaison between U.S.-based funds and ICICI Bank’s Indian operations, ensuring smooth execution of investment strategies.
5. Collaboration & Strategic Growth:
- Work closely with internal teams across ICICI Bank, including compliance, legal, risk, and operations, to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Represent ICICI Bank at industry conferences, roadshows, and investor summits in the U.S. to build brand presence and generate leads.
