Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages through the art of dance and creative movement. In this role, you will lead engaging dance classes, develop innovative curricula, and foster a positive environment that encourages artistic expression and personal growth. Your enthusiasm for dance, combined with your ability to manage classrooms effectively, will help cultivate a love for the performing arts in our diverse community.
Duties
- Design and implement comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, all ages ballet and /or jazz and contemporary.
- Lead energetic and motivating dance classes that promote technique, creativity, and confidence among students.
- Manage classroom behavior to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment for all participants.
- Develop choreography for performances, recitals, or showcases that highlight students’ progress and talens
- Maintain detailed lesson plans
Experience
- Proven experience teaching dance or performing arts to children and teens in classroom or workshop settings.
- Strong background in choreography, dance instruction, and curriculum development across multiple styles.
- Experience working with youth programs or early childhood education environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for diverse age groups.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
