Position Summary
Total Waste Removal is hiring reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Trash Truck Helpers. This is a physically demanding but rewarding position with consistent hours, competitive pay, and opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Ride along with the driver and assist with residential and commercial waste collection.
- Lift, carry, and dump trash and recycling containers into the truck.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Work as part of a team to complete daily routes efficiently and safely.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Dependable with strong attendance and a good work ethic.
- Ability to work early morning shifts. Start times may vary depending on the route.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work hard as part of a team.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday beginning at 5:00 am
- Occasional rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person - Lorton, VA 22079Must have reliable transportation and/or be willing to relocate prior to start date.
