Help Children Build Confidence. Develop Skills. Change Lives.
Do you believe therapy should be engaging, creative, evidence-based, and fun?
At FUNctional Therapy, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. Our team partners with children, teens, young adults, and their families to develop meaningful skills that improve participation at home, school, in the community, and throughout everyday life.
We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about pediatrics, enjoys thinking outside the box, values collaboration, and wants to build lasting relationships while making a meaningful difference every day.
If you enjoy celebrating milestones, solving challenges creatively, collaborating with families, and continually growing as a clinician, we'd love to meet you.
Why Join FUNctional Therapy?
FUNctional Therapy is an established, therapist-owned outpatient pediatric practice serving Louisville and the surrounding communities. We are committed to providing exceptional, family-centered care while creating an environment where therapists are supported, valued, and inspired.
Our therapists enjoy the freedom to be creative while receiving mentorship, collaboration, and leadership support to become the best clinicians they can be.
Our approach is built on:
- Family-centered, relationship-driven care
- Play-based, evidence-informed intervention
- Whole-child treatment philosophy
- Collaboration across disciplines
- Individualized treatment planning
- Therapist autonomy and creativity
- Clinical excellence with compassionate care
- Continuous professional growth
- Positive, supportive team culture
We believe that when therapists feel supported, children and families receive the very best care.

You'll have opportunities to:

Responsibilities include:

- Educate families with practical home strategies that encourage carryover into daily routines
- Complete timely documentation and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and leadership
- Contribute ideas that enhance programs, client experiences, and clinic culture
- Continue growing professionally through mentorship and continuing education
Qualifications

Pediatric experience is preferred but not required. We welcome clinicians who are excited to learn and grow.
